Terms of Use

These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your use of the mybudget app (“mybudget” or “the App”), operated by Clickly LLC (“we,” “us,” or “our”). By downloading, accessing, or using mybudget, you agree to these Terms. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the App.

1. Who can use mybudget

You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction) and able to form a binding contract to use mybudget. By using the App, you confirm that you meet these requirements and that the information you provide is accurate. mybudget is not directed to children.

2. Your account

You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for all activity that happens under your account. Please provide accurate information, keep it up to date, and notify us promptly of any unauthorized use of your account.

3. License to use the App

We grant you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, and revocable license to use mybudget for your own personal, non-commercial budgeting. You may not copy, modify, reverse-engineer, resell, sublicense, or distribute the App or its content, except as allowed by law.

4. Financial data and third-party services

mybudget connects to your financial accounts through third-party providers — Plaid (for bank and card data) and Apple FinanceKit (for Apple Card, Apple Cash, and Apple Savings). By linking accounts, you authorize us and these providers to access and use your financial data to provide the service, as described in our Privacy Policy. Your use of those services is also subject to their own terms, including Plaid’s end-user agreement and Apple’s terms. We are not responsible for the accuracy, availability, or actions of these third parties.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to: use the App for any unlawful purpose; attempt to access another person’s account or data without authorization; interfere with or disrupt the App or its security; scrape, reverse-engineer, or otherwise misuse the service; or upload malicious code. We may suspend or terminate access for violations.

6. Disclaimer of warranties

mybudget is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. The daily spendable amount, bill detection, and all other figures in the App are estimates provided for informational purposes only. They are not financial, investment, tax, or legal advice. The data we display comes from third parties and your financial institutions and may be delayed, incomplete, or inaccurate. You are solely responsible for your financial decisions and for verifying balances, transactions, and due dates directly with your bank or card issuer. We do not guarantee that the App will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that it will prevent overdrafts, missed payments, fees, or any other financial outcome.

7. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Clickly LLC will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any financial loss, overdraft, fee, or missed payment, arising from or related to your use of the App. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid us, if any, for the App in the 12 months before the claim.

8. Termination

You may stop using mybudget and delete your account at any time within the App. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms or if we discontinue the App. Sections that by their nature should survive termination — such as disclaimers, limitations of liability, and intellectual property — will continue to apply.

9. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Maryland, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Any disputes will be handled in the courts located in Maryland, unless applicable law requires otherwise.
